  4x Enrobed giant, vegan marshmallows with 66% coconut dark milk chocolate made with a special lot of cacao from the very first HCP Heirloom cacao Alto Beni #1.  Studded with organic caramel Stroopwafel, fresh roasted Pecan and Dorset-grown organic Russet apple pate de fruit.

 

A once-in-a-lifetime lot of beans from the farm of Felix Paredes, the Grand Cru of Alto Beni beans.  At almost £40/kg, the unroasted fermented cacao beans must be among the most highly prized ever imported by any chocolatemaker.

 

For their very first heirloom designee, the Heirloom Cacao Preservation (HCP) came out strong with a unique selection of beans fermented by Volker Lehmann in the Alto Beni region of Bolivia, which was virtually unknown at the time. HCP#1 was discovered!

 

In celebration of HCP's 10th anniversary, 2024, HCP auctioned off a very special lot of beans from the farm of Felix Paredes, the Grand Cru of Alto Beni beans. Felix has been farming cacao in the Alto Beni for 60 years.

 

We were the only maker outside of the United States to win one of the auctions.

 

Delighted to offer this cacao in the form of a high percentage coconut dark milk Boulder at 66%.  A unique profile of deeply chocolatey bergamot, stunning as a dark milk and obviously very very limited. Expect notes of herbal citrus and chocolate!  Zingy, zesty and ending in grapefruit this bar has tremendous length for a dark milk and we're so very pleased to have access to this special cacao.  Paired here with notes of caramel, apple, baked goods... it's a real mouthful.  Huge too, but you don't mind!

The 1st Heirloom cacao identified under the HCP Heirloom Cacao Preservation iniative.

 

Here we add pieces of Dutch stroopwafel, vegan of course, to our newest dark milk.  Stroopwafels, if you don't know, 2 soft chewy waffels are baked with a layer of thick luscious caramel in the sandwich.  Lightly spiced with cinnamon and hint of vanilla.  The flavour transfer throughout the entire melt.

 

This origin has been a long-time coming, our conversations with Volker dating back to 2015.  We're very pleased to unveil the first look at this legendary origin!

 

Expect a slow melt and a balanced comforting chocolatey base with loads going on.
